Need help setting up your new email account?
Then use our easy to follow step by step guide to setting up your new email account using the most common Microsoft email programs Outlook and Outlook Express.

Both Outlook and Outlook Express require the same settings, although they have differing setup wizards. Please read below to find out how to setup your account.

Step 1: Start Microsoft Outlook / Outlook Express
Step 2: Click Tools then Email Accounts, in Express this is Tools then Accounts
Step 3: For Outlook Express / Vista, you must then click Add on the right hand side, then Mail

You are required to complete all sections of this dialog box before you can proceed to the next section, once you have complete all sections click the Test Account Settings ... button to confirm all settings are correct.

Step 4: You're Finished That's it you are finished and have successfully completed the Add a new e-mail address wizard and you can start using your new email address.

These are the most important settings:
Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com.au
Outgoing mail server: your ISP details (i.e. mail.bigpond.com)
Username: your email address
Password: your email address password
